It is that amazing time of year again, when we settle in to watch the merriest of holiday cinema classics. This playful and cheerful romp is about god and suicide but more importantly its about loving your life and appreciating your family. It's a Wonderful Life leads us to a romantic holiday pitch about George Bailey's little gingersnap, Zuzu. Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays from the Cotta Brothers! The Cotta Boys are in San Diego CA visiting the ancestral manse and paying homage to the internet's most meme worthy movie. Mike Myers and Eddie Murphy put on Oscar winning voice performances in an animated classic that will have you wondering how coked up the Academy was that year. The brothers then pitch a film about one, Baby Bear, that goes on a journey of self-discovery and heroism, hopefully Dreamworks won't botch this one.  

Jared and Brendan have decided to become IMDb consultants for new and emerging stars of TV and Cinema (and Video Games). Our cousin and former Bit Party guest, Jayme Lake, is fresh off a new role on Nickelodeon's I Am Frankie and a voice role in Rockstar's Red Dead Redemption 2, so its a perfect time to shape up her IMDb trivia section. 

If you have an IMDb page that needs some work call the Cotta Brother's; no shining star should have a dull bio section.

On this very special horror movie episode we visit the town of Derry and live out one of Stephen King's most beloved nightmares. Pennywise the dancing clown is a shape shifting maniac and we can't get enough of his kooky antics. We pitch a film about a sheep farmer that has fought Pennywise once before and lived to tell the tale.

On this episode we invite our long lost Cotta Brother, Arthur, to discuss his favorite cocaine themed movie. Our group muses over the pros and cons of a life as a drug smuggler. Eventually we pitch a movie about the flamboyant yet grizzled origin of Derek Foreal or Pee Wee Herman...  - its hard to separate the two. Needless to say we have met our Paul Reubens quota for the season.

This week the Cotta Brothers have a special guest, their cousin, Jayme Lake! We watch Tim Burton's first full length feature, Pee-Wee's Big Adventure. Then we pitch a surprisingly heartfelt film about an unlikely hero and his trucker mom.

 

The Cotta Boys face betrayal in this episode, but press on without one of the original Bit Party-ers. They also take on their first full-length animated feature. We feel like Walt Disney releasing Snow White, which is fitting because we are seeking those Disney dollars in this Mulan themed pitch. We are hearing crickets, but in China that means good luck is coming!

The Cotta Brothers jump in their DeLorean, gun it to 88MPH, and explore this classic film that defined 80's cinema. The Brothers pitch a movie all about the eccentric time traveler Doc Brown, and yes it spans time and space.

The Cotta Boys are back by popular demand with a new season of Bit Party. A Season 2, if you will. We break into the DC universe with the first in Christopher Nolan's epic trilogy, the origin of the Batman. Unsatisfied with that we dig deeper into the history of Bruce Wayne and pitch a film about his vigilante ancestors. I guess it runs in the family.

Season one closes out with a modern Disney classic, no not Frozen, Iron Man. Tony Stark teaches us that while its not nearly as lucrative, building a super suit to inflict vigilante justice is more fulfilling than selling weapons to terrorists. The Cotta Brothers may love super hero movies but we are in this biz for the Oscars baby, so we pitched a tear-jerker about life in a war torn village (with just a dash of Marvel heroics). 

All good things come to and end which is why Bit Party and the Cotta Brothers will be back in a few months with new episodes! Until then look for some mini pods and shorts on this channel. Thanks for listening!
